Here’s how we are going to help you reduce your stress

  • A 6-week program run in a private Facebook group by Fiona and Rebecca, our experienced nutritionists. (Fiona is also a holistic counsellor and mind body eating coach).
  • The Stress Less e-book which includes a workbook featuring energy and nutritional strategies.
  • The Food and Mood e-book.
  • The Strategies for Managing Emotional Eating e-book.
  • Live educational talks every Tuesday and Saturday.
  • Weekly Q&As to answer all your specific questions.

The live talks (videos) will be be available to watch in the group at any time so you can watch/or listen at your convenience. So no need to be available at any particular times. We have created this program with overwhelmed busy people in mind, it won’t take a lot of your precious time. It will however make a big difference to how you feel, if you incorporate some of the strategies into your life.

Let us introduce ourselves.

Fiona is a nutritionist, mind body eating coach and holistic counsellor. And Rebecca is a nutritionist and healthy food expert.

Together, we operate Informed Health.

We live and breathe all things nutrition, and regularly connect with our community by speaking about health and nutrition on the radio and in workplaces, gyms, and schools.

Our approach to our client needs is unique. We firmly believe the body and mind work together, and focus on this connection in our programs to provide the best outcomes for our patients.

By the way, we’ve both travelled the path from uncertainty to good health ourselves. So we understand the journey you’re about to embark on, and will help you achieve your desired outcomes in a caring and professional manner.

After working with more than 1,000 clients with varying health issues, we know what works and how to get results. We don’t judge, there is no competition, and our clients are always treated with respect.

Our e-book is a core part of the program, and is referred to throughout our educational live and Q&A sessions.

Who is this program for?

This is is a general program aimed to help you learn skills to reduce and manage stress and anxiety, and generally improve your mood.

It’s aimed at over 18s. 

The Stress Less program provides nutritional and lifestyle tips, and gives you the opportunity to review the stories you’re currently telling yourself – and start creating new ones. 

While Fiona is a holistic counsellor, this program is not therapy, does not include one on one consultations, and is not a diagnostic course. 

If the course brings up any emotional baggage, we recommend you see a mental health professional to work through your issues in a one-on-one environment. You may choose to work with Fiona, who is available for individual consultations, or perhaps a psychologist. Talk to your GP for the best steps forward.

Who this program is not for

This program is not for treating complex and severe eating disorders and/or mental health issues.

When does the program start and finish?

You’ll find the start and finish dates for our next round at the top of the page. 

We run this program regularly throughout the year, so if those dates aren’t suitable you can add yourself to the waitlist.

We’ll let you know when the next round opens for enrolment.

What will I receive when I enrol?

After your initial enrolment, you will receive confirmation of your booking. Please let us know if that isn’t the case. 

The links for the e-book and our private Facebook group will be in the confirmation email. 

The Facebook group gives you access to regular talks, Q&A sessions, general discussion, support, and information throughout the 6 weeks.

Do I need to read the e-book?

Preferably yes. The e-Book is referred to throughout the program and many of our live videos will discuss the featured content. 

So if you wish to get the most from the program, we highly recommend reading it. (We promise it’s an easy read.)

How long do I have access to the program's Facebook group?

While the program itself runs for 6 weeks, we’ll keep the Facebook group going for approximately 2 weeks following the end date. 

Afterwards, we’ll encourage you to join our bigger group.

Is there an eating plan provided in this program?
No. However, you’ll receive some dietary guidelines and advice to support both your mental and gut health.
What’s included in the Facebook Live sessions?

We’ll conduct 2  Facebook live sessions each week, normally on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the program. 

During these sessions we’ll go through the tools and strategies outlined in the e-book and answer all your questions. 

You can get involved and ask lots of questions or simply observe. It’s totally up to you. 

What if I can't watch the Live sessions?

If you can’t tune into the Facebook Live sessions, that’s okay

They’ll be saved into the group, so you can watch the replay whenever it suits you.

How much support will I receive in the program?

Every week, we’ll provide educational session on the Tuesday, followed by a Q&A session on the Saturday. The Q&A session gives you the opportunity to ask all your questions. 

We’ll also regularly check in and interact with the group to ensure everyone has all the information they need. 

Please note: As this is a group program, we won’t be providing individual therapy of any kind.

Is there an exercise component to the program?

No. We are nutritionists and aren’t qualified to give specific exercise advice. 

However, exercise is important for physical and mental health. We recommend you aim for 20 minutes of movement each day. It’s up to you whether you prefer walking, running, dancing, swimming, yoga, going to the gym, or something else. Just get that body moving.

What if I have a mental health condition?

We are not psychologists or psychiatrists, so we won’t be diagnosing or treating mental health. This program does not replace therapy, and may potentially trigger issues for people with mental health issues. 

It’s best to do a program like this if you’re already having therapy and are ready to discuss what you learn in a safe therapeutic space.

Is the program covered by Medicare?

No.

Is the program covered by health funds?

Health funds generally don’t cover online nutritional programs or telehealth video consultations. It is best to check directly with your health fund.
