During this consultation we will assess any specific needs you may have to help you achieve your digestive health goals. We can also prescribe specific probiotics/supplements to support your digestive healing if required. Supplements are prescribed through Vital.ly and are optional. You will find that improving gut health helps with many health issues however we will be focusing mainly on your digestion for the purposes of this program.

Yes, our plans and recipes are dairy free or provide dairy/lactose free options.
How much support will I receive on the program?
You will begin with a one to one Telehealth video consultation with one of our Nutritionists.
We will be doing an educational video and then a Q&A video each week within the Facebook group where we will answer everyone’s questions. Is the program suitable for vegetarians?
Yes it can be adapted for vegetarians.
Is there an exercise component to the program?
No, we are Nutritionists and not qualified to give exercise advice. We do recommend that you aim for 20 minutes of movement each day. You can choose whether that is walking, running, dancing, swimming, yoga, going to the gym or whatever movement you prefer. Movement helps to keep your bowel moving and can help to clear any painful wind.
Does this program cater for a Paleo or LCHF diet?
What if I have a health condition or other medical problems?
This program is suitable for most people, if you are unsure, check with us email@example.com or talk to your GP before signing up for the program. As this program includes a one to one Telehealth Video Nutrition consultation, we can discuss any concerns with you.
What if I take medications?
As this program includes a one to one Telehealth Video Nutrition consultation, we can discuss any concerns with you. This program is suitable for most medications. We can also assess whether supplements are a safe option for you.
If you are on blood thinners you may need to check with your GP as it is not a good idea to add lots of greens to your diet if you are on medications like warfarin.
If you are on blood pressure medication or diabetes medication, you may need to see your doctor for a review throughout the program as this program may naturally lower your blood pressure and blood glucose levels therefore reducing your need for diabetes or blood pressure medications.
If you are on insulin, you definitely need to be supervised by your GP. Insulin dependent diabetics need to be supervised to do this program as following this eating plan is likely to reduce your need for insulin which may put you at risk of experiencing hypos if you continue with same dosage of insulin. It is essential that you are checking your blood glucose levels several times a day to monitor your need for insulin.
Always seek advice from your GP.
Do I need to take supplements or protein powders?
You do not need to take supplements, however some of our smoothie recipes include a protein powder. We will advise you on the best brands. If you prefer not to use protein powders you can choose one of our other breakfast options.
Can I keep taking my supplements or protein shakes?
If you are choosing to use supplements including protein shakes it is recommended that you discuss this with the Nutritionist during your one to one consultation. Please provide us names/brands of supplements so we can advise you. We are qualified Nutritional Medicine Practitioners and we are experienced in safely and appropriately prescribing good quality nutritional supplements if they are required.
Is the program covered by Medicare?
Is the program covered by Health Funds?
Generally health funds don’t cover online nutritional programs or Telehealth Video Consultations. It is best to check directly with your health fund
Who can this program help?
This program is suitable to support people with general digestive issues to improve their digestion and reduce/remove symptoms. This program is not for treatment of complex and severe digestive diseases. Complex digestive diseases require much more individual consultation time. If you are unsure please contact us to clarify. We are available at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 47 222 111.
